Position: Manager - Tendering & Contract
Job Summary:
The Manager - Tendering & Contract is responsible for overseeing the tendering process and managing contracts within the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of procurement, negotiations, and legal aspects related to tendering and contract management. The Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and legal teams to ensure compliance with regulations and achieve favorable terms for the organization.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement tendering strategies, policies, and procedures.
2. Lead the tendering process from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
3. Prepare bid documents, including Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotations (RFQs), and other relevant documents.
4. Evaluate received bids/proposals in collaboration with cross-functional teams and provide recommendations for selection.
5. Negotiate contracts with vendors/suppliers to obtain favorable terms and conditions.
6. Review contractual agreements, identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
7. Collaborate with legal teams to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
8. Maintain accurate records of contracts, amendments, correspondence, and other relevant documentation.
9. Monitor contract performance against agreed-upon terms and identify areas for improvement or renegotiation.
10. Provide guidance and support to team members involved in tendering activities.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
2. Proven experience in tendering management, contract negotiation, or a similar role.
3. In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, legal frameworks, and contract management principles.
4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex proposals/contracts effectively.
5. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to negotiate confidently.
6. Detail-oriented approach with exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Proficiency in using relevant software applications and tools.
8. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
9. Strong leadership abilities with the capability to motivate and mentor team members.
10. Sound understanding of industry practices and market trends in tendering and contract management.

Salary Package : 16,00,000 -18,00,000 INR per annum.
